Where do you turn for impartial Internet related advice? Or for help making some changes to your existing web site? Many web designers are just that - they design the web site hand it over, get paid and that's the end of the relationship. We do more. Not only can we provide hosting and email services but also ongoing support. In most cases if a client needs a small change - maybe a change of address or adding a new product, we aim to complete it within 2 working days of the request - and often within minutes!
As a web site owner there are all kinds of potential "surprises" in store for you. Whereas you think your web site is there for your benefit, there are others who see it as an advertisment that you are a potential customer for their schemes.
A common example is a phone call or email advising you that someone else wants to buy an internet address (domain name) very similar to yours. Their proposal is that you buy it to "protect your brand" from this third party. At that point you need to check with someone with the knowledge to advise you what to do. As one of our customers just phone or email us and you'll get the answer. If it's a simple answer we don't even charge for our time. (And in the domain name example above the answer is "it's almost certainly a scam, ignore it.")
Other tasks we have undertaken include analysing and reporting your web site visitor statistics, researching competitor web sites, critiques on a customer's "old" website developed elsewhere, researching affiliate marketing schemes, building bespoke technical features for incorporation in sites developed elsewhere.
